FAQ

What systems does it work on?+

Windows 10/11 — now. macOS and Linux — in development. Minimum: 4 GB RAM, microphone.

Do I need internet?+

Yes, voice and Yukai's brain run in the cloud (Claude AI + Fish Audio). Regular home internet handles it.

How many languages does she know?+

Russian and English — fully. Others — understood, but voice is RU/EN only for now.

Can I change voice or appearance?+

Basic — free. Marketplace with voices and characters from creators (including anime artists and seiyuu) coming soon.

What does Yukai do with my data?+

Conversations are not stored on servers longer than processing. Local memory stays only on your computer.

What if I cancel my subscription?+

Access stays until the end of the paid period. Local memory and settings remain with you.

Windows says "Unknown Publisher" — is it safe?+

Yes, the app is safe — we just haven't bought a code-signing certificate yet (~$300/year). Click "More info" → "Run anyway" to install. Defender will recognize the file after a few hundred installs and stop warning. Code signing is on the roadmap.
